But according to a few forum members this is totally urban myth, and police have heard nothing about this horse that was abandoned at holyhead. And yet clearly the police have known about it so i think it,s time the police departments start singing from the same hymn sheet.
I for one will take note of any advice given and not believe this urban myth story it,s too late when your horse as gone to god knows where.

There have been no reported incidents involving this horse theft from Surrey or the horse being left at Holyhead, someone has made it all up, we checked with the police yesterday, but it is making people more aware!

they don't investigate ANYTHING - hell - they don't even correct spelling mistakes!

And let's face it, your average PC Plod isn't necessarily brain of Britain!

And as for:

They are using these horses for racing in Ireland and they are looking for new stock. They race them into the ground and then abandon them or kill them. They are going around looking for horses they can steal.

This is absolute rubbish. Ireland is awash with unwanted decent quality horses at present - plenty of breeders are almost giving horses away as they have little or no forage. A friend of mine has just bought a VERY nice 3 year old TB filly (unraced) for £450.00 - hardly worth stealing to transport back to Ireland!
