shud i clip pony's feathers off for show

its a one off fun show, but even so, it'll be my first and i want to put it as much effort as poss. he's not a hairy, but does have feathers. was hoping they'd moult off, but they seem to be staying put. pic below shows the extent of his feathers....

If your going to plait him up then yeah I would, it looks like you pull/trim his main so you'd be fine to trim of feather. (I could be wrong tho, but I'm sure thats what people said to me.) Have fun with your showing.

ok, will do. i only have dog clippers - andis. which blade length shud i go for? 7F??? only trouble is, i shall hve to bring him home, into my back garden to do it as there is no elec plug on the yard!! cud be interesting!!
