Just had friend from Scotland on phone in tears, she owns her own paddock and has spent allot of money on building stables she had 4 stables and a tack room built originally for her two and foaling box and spare for feed/hay but money became tight and she rented out a box. The person that has that box lets call her A (she may be on here so don't want to say names) came down to muck out as horses are currently in as her fields are backlogged with water after there was a blockage in the draining pipe that runs through field, its a old sewage pipe so they aren't risking putting horses out in it as of yet. but there is a sectioned off bit for them to roam in for few hours a day but not really big enough for them to let themselves go round.
A came down and left section bit open went into my friends stable to get the key for tack room and horse bolted seeing a bid for freedom with open tape she was off like a rocket.
So what did A do she skipped her horse out and shut mates stable door then left a note that she had barged past and because A was late for work she couldn't catch her.
My friend turned up to find little madam had not only rolled in wet stuff shes cut her leg and now friend is worried that if pipe has a any sewage her horse could be at risk.
shes called vet out not a bad cut but in case there is sewage Ive said to get vet just in case, she wants A gone now as well she causes more problems than she needs
do you think she has rounds to throw her off? Any help would be wonderful
forgot to say they have a contract (standard grazing one)
Pipes getting fixed she looking into getting water tested (no idea how!)
