my horse has a suspected soft tissue injury to his si region. He's had every diagnostic going and this is a best guess diagnosis. The vet has said 2 months box rest followed by 1 month small paddock rest. I am planning to give him longer paddock rest as dont fancy bringing him back into work in the middle of winter! I.ve read lots tho that say box rest is bad for si injuries? Dont know what to do. I must say he's had 2 months of being in the field and didn't look any better hence the box rest but not sure what to do? He looks so unhappy but dont want to go against the vets advice
