A friend of mine has started at the Royal Vet College as an equine technician. A husky was brought into the small animal department this week: it's owner had been attacked, the had been grabbed, stabbed 7 times, had it's throat cut and was then set on fire. It is recovering (!!!) at the RVC.

I'm fascinated by her stories since she started, but this one is horrific. Poor bloody dog. It sounds personal, stabbing is apparently a personal type of attack (so says OH copper, or possibly some lunatic).

Oh my god - that's awful. I'm a little confused though, do you mean the owner was attacked as well, or the owner attacked the dog?

Sounds like it and it's the right area. She's back at work on the 28th, I'll see if she an get an update.

Thanks. I'd like to hear how the poor boy is doing. They are a very resilient breed so I'm sure he'll bounce back
Really hope they catch whoever did this.
