Side reins

Ages since i used side reins!! And I have forgotten how to measure them

is it from saddle along underside of neck to throat down to bit??

I only wanrt them loose

attach to girth, hold towards bit and there should be a hands gap between side rein end of buckle and the bit.

That's how I use mine and when he works on lunge they are loose
