It was my local side saddle association area spring show yesterday and so as i decided to pop along as i'd managed to get the day off work and its pretty local.
My friend had her lovely TB competing, he's 11 and just 5 weeks ago did the point to point at Kelso and he also did the Diana of the chase race down south.
Having watched the showing classes i've got to say i don't understand any of the judging, the overly fat hunter with cow hocks and a very grumpy looking arab seemed to be doing well.
But it was lovely to see plenty there competing.
I did as always take my camera, so here are a few photos

Nice photos Gillian, lovely Highland. The bay was certainly the tank of the day but they were all in very good "show" condition weren't they :(

The Highland is gorgeous, she does endurance and last week did a huge ride, can't remember how far she did.
Charlie is fit enough to gallop 3 miles and more muscled than i have seen him. He did find showing not nearly as fun as racing
