Hi there,
This is for anyone interested Wey Valley Riding Club are holding a side-saddle demonstration at Parwood Equestrian Centre. This is with Caroline Wilkins who starred in Downton Abbey and Haslemere Wardrobe who are bringing some Edwardian costumes too. Shame this is a bit far away for me, I am hoping to ride side saddle at my wedding next year and would have been really interested in this display. Need to get some lessons to see if my eventer will like side saddle!

That is such a shame. I am getting my pony broken to harness for my wedding so that she can take me there. Good luck with your search and try the side saddle society to see where the nearest place to train is.

Thanks Steffi_zebedee for the advice, I will check this out. Good luck with your pony and wedding too, it was always my dream for my pony to take me to my wedding. I broke him to harness but sadly left finding the right man a bit late in life - pony is now 37 and has cushings! So the responsibility falls to Henry to take me side saddle instead.
