Side saddle...

Does anyone know of anyone or anywhere that would hire, loan, lend, (or last resort due to tight budget sell!) a side saddle.

Ideally 17.5in, to fit a 16.3hh TB.

It would only be needed for approx two months if it was loaned/hired.

Any help at all greatly appreciated!!

You could try Laura Dempsey at the Midlands Side Saddle Centre.

Alternatively, get in touch with the Side Saddle Association and see if anyone there could help you.
 
There used to be a company that hired them out -kent or sussex, and then theres the lady in Liss, Hampshire that repairs them.

Otherwise bearing in mind your user name, ask your mother in law??? lol!
 
presumably Iconique you mean Grandmother-In-Law.

Not sure Princess Di was known for her side saddle riding...
 
Have emailed Laura at the East Midlands Side Saddle Centre - hopefully she might know someone if she has none or doesn't hire!

Unfortunately I'm the other Kate Middleton! (though born same year and same full name too - bit scary!) Prefer Harry though!

Will continue my search - had first lesson yesterday, was great fun, although very odd to what am used to, having been riding astride for 20 years! Hunting middle of Feb side saddle - so my second lesson is today!!
