Sigh. It's a good thing I love my horse.

So he's had choke earlier this week. Cleared it fine, a lot of gunk later.....

I've left him be since then [I was meant to be bringing him into work this week, but original choke episode put that on delay], he's been fine, so bought him tonight to ride. Caught him, he was fine, tacked him up, off we went...

Had been riding about 20 minutes or so, then he felt a little bit funny, carried on for a bit more and he started coughing. Pulled in to the nearest lay by and got off straight away, realising he had choke, again. Took his bit out, and left him be for half an hour and he did cough it all up and clear it eventually. Had some very kind people stop and help [Vikki from here who was driving by at the time being one! Thanks :) ].
We were only about half a mile from home, so I walked him back once he seemed happier and had left various lovely deposits of green slobber and goo everywhere on the street [oops].
So I go to walk him back [I'd also ripped my sodding jeans crotch getting off him that rapidly to add insult to injury], and we've crossed the road and he sneezes one last good proper time, all over my bum.

So, off we trundle, back down the main road at rush hour...me with my ripped jeans [and also now bright green snot covered].

Get back and he's back to normal. Got him seen to and stayed with him for an hour, but he was back to normal.

Sigh. He did snatch a bit of tall grass not long before, so I'm guessing it was that.

But, we did have a lovely ride back together again...for the short amount of time I was on him anyway!!!

Horses!!!!

The only photo I got of our first ride back on board anyway.
