Hello just a quick reminder to anyone who hasn't yet signed World Horse Welfare's petition to tighten up the rules over the long distance transport of horses for slaughter. Everyone needs to PLEASE sign this and get your families and friends to, as well.

Later this year World Horse Welfare (formerly the ILPH) will be presenting the petition to the European Commission which is really open for change if they see enough support. I'll be reporting the outcome and it would be great to be able to say how much H&H readers have helped.
Having seen these poor animals first hand, I cannot stress how important it is that everyone adds their name to this.
