use photobucket editor and create a collage if you want a few photos on it. I realy like it theres some nice effects too

I use fotoflexer.com (I think that's what it's called!) it's fantastic for about everything and it's free! That is once you know how to use it but it is fairly simple

Well I use paint, its a really simple sig but I cba with all the fancy editing stuff. Perhaps look at people signatures and if you like one ask them if they would make you one
