My girlies funniest quirk is jumping round in circles, backwards, whilst howling and barking...sometimes trying to grab her tail at the same time everytime you say 'Do you want to go in the garden?'

She also runs full pelt down the garden before throwing herself into a forward roll.

And has adopted our 8 month old cat Pheobe and attempting to nurse her.

She really is a silly girl.

What's the daftest thing your dog does?

^^^ Are you sure that's not my girl you're talking about?
Bella likes to hurl herself into ditches, grass verges etc and writhe about like a looney...

Bodo is a nosey bugger - he likes to check everything out, he leaps up on fences, windowsills, doorframes...

Henry has 'little moments', during which he writhes around on the door mat growling and yowling, or charges up and down next to the wicker chair scraping himself up and down the side for a good scratch

He is also totally obsessed with all things belonging to my colleague Hannah, and is always nicking her gloves / boots and marching around the office waving them about like trophies

It's a good job his Auntie Hannah loves him...

LMT - they don't get the chance to try opening doors

H&H - you've just reminded me of another - if I stick my fingers through the bars on his run, Bodo will brush along them for tickles, then change direction so I can get his other side. Nutter!

Leah LOVES daisies (she's such a girly girl!) so when we walk through a big patch of them, she gets all excited and rubs her nose in them before having a good roll. Sometimes she's so excited she can't decide whether to roll around on the floor or run around like a loony, so she dithers around jumping back and forwards and pushing her shoulder along the ground with her bum in the air...

No complaints here - some dogs roll in dead animals and horse poo, mine rolls in flowers!
She is also very vocal - she almost never barks, but she makes weird "aarrrrooooaaaggghhh" noises that frighten some people because they think she's growling, but it's really more like snorting. She makes me giggle.

My sister's JRT is really creepy - she just sits and stares at you until you give her some attention. Then when you start rubbing her tummy, you're not allowed to stop - she wouldn't do it to me, because she knows I'd slap her, but when my friend stopped fussing her, she bit her! :O Horrible little animal! She also stalks birds in the garden (I hate it when she catches them - one of them died in my hands once

) and if there's one perched in a tree, she stands under the tree on her hind legs to see them better. She can stay like that for aaages - she should be in the circus!

Pie 'sings' on the bed in the morning while I'm getting the breakfast ready and wriggles about on her back.

Alf has a favourite toy which is a long stuffed snake and he shakes it so hard it hits him and wraps round his neck, then he has to savage it as it's attacked him. He also saves me from bee attacks by sucking them, spitting them out so they're too soggy to fly then barking at them so I am alerted to his bravery. He's just mental

Indie plays like a cat if you wiggle your hand under the duvet when she's on the bed, her ears go up and she wiggles and pounces.

Dillon has appointed himself 'bird monitor' in the garden and sees it as his duty to keep everything out right down to the tiniest blue tit and lurks in the doorway 'til they've settled before leaping out to save the day

I love all their funny ways. Dogs are so much fun

Maggie the border terrier in my avatar must have been human in another life - we have never had a dog like her. Her favourite toy that she is allowed to play with is a large marble. Her real favourite which she is not allowed to play with is a coconut

which she chases and barks and growls at until she almost collapses with exhaustion (and drives us mad with the noise).

My JRT does soooo many funny/strange things but of late I do think he wants to be a cat!...even down to stalking other dogs!

He also does alot of what your dog does...I really love the bee catching routines!lol
