I was at the yard at 11 o'clock and the radio was on. I was grooming my daughter's hunting horse and when it was the two minutes silence, there was no-one around so I was telling the horse he should be thinking about all the poor horses who had to go to war and died there.
After the two minutes silence the Last Post was played on a horn. Silly horse, he really thought it was the hunting horn, he went mad, head up, tail up, shivering, etc. took a while to calm him down.
They're not daft are they?
Anyway, bless all the young men and women who died for us and the animals too, horses, dogs, pigeons etc.
