Beautiful Cochise hacks for hours and never breaks a sweat, he's confident and cheeky but always genuine. He's 4 and is coming on well.
On friday we hacked out a shorter veriosn of a hack we do a few times a week, and he had his willy out... for a long time!
I noticed it in the shadow and his owner noticed it too (she was on her other horse behind him). So I stopped him to see if he needed to pee. He started eating grass...
So we kept walkinh and he started to sweat up - really sweat up! starting runnign down his neck. I got off him incase there was a serious problem! we checked him over and he had nothing wrong with him - except his willy was still out! I got back on after a wee while and set off again. This time he started headshaking, snathcin the bit and pawing the ground... i was getting really worried
I got off and took his saddle off to look over him again... nothing!!! we were walking slowly home by this point when all of a sudden he stopped!!
He took the stance and peeeeeeeed!!! lol!
He shook and sighed. the most relief ive ever seen in a horse! HE then walked on no problme and the sweat dried up in minutes. no head shaking or any general anxiousness.
Silly wee horse had stage fright
Thats the first time he's peed with a rider on, so hopfully he wont get himself so worked up next time!
