Really daft post...sorry to waste it but I just wanted to say that I love my horsey so very much. He plodded me round the block like a jem today like he knew that I am still pretty delicate in the back and despite him being roughed off for 5 months. He is a darling...grumpy old man at times, mischief maker, downright too nosy and a cheeky monkey...but a jem nethertheless...I would not be without him!

Not silly at all. I know just how you feel. My horse is coming back into work after an injury and despite being ridden from his stable (week 3 of box rest) he has been an absolute star. It makes you realise how lucky we are!
 
Not a silly post at all - its great to have somewhere to put your feelings! I feel the same about my horsey today - we have had a great hack this morning through the new woods in the National Forest. Both horses loved it - even if they did tank off a bit at times - it was only because they were enjoying themselves!

Thing is nobody else really understands (well OH doesn't - he just says 'that's nice dear!' ) so its great to share your feelings on here where people DO understand!
