Silly question about sizes.

Does anyone know what size saddle a pony sized half pad would be likely to fit?

Depends on the brand. Usually pony size is for 14"- 15" saddles. Some might just fit a 16" but if I was buying for 16" saddle I'd get a cob size.

I stock Mattes pads and pony size is suitable for up to 16", cob for 16.5 plus, it would swamp a 16" saddle.

I have a 16 inch saddle and a cob looks massive under it. Hes a short backed haffy so wondered if a pony sized numnah would be more suitable?

Anyone use a pony size on a 16 inch saddle?

As I say, it depends on the brand, they're all different. If Mattes then yes pony size fits a 16" saddle.
