How do I measure my saddle ? I have an old saddle in the garage that I would like to seel but have no idea of how to measure it.

It is a nice Black County Brown GP, but has never fitted my lad, he was sold with it. Is going to waste in my garage.

He now has one that fits him, yes by saddler !!! so there is totally no point in me keeping it, is way to narrow

Look for a stamp - possible under the skirts or under the flap?

Measure it from the little metal 'button' at the front near the stirrup bar flap backwards until the tape reaches the middle of the cantle (so its a bit like a diagonal line). That gives a rough seat size. Then flip it over and measure the width of the gullet at the pommel end and again at the cantle end. This should give most people a rough idea of what width it is.
