Silly question.

i always believed this until monday when i found what was left of a mouse surrounded by rat poop, i think the mouse was dinner.
i then emptied out the tack room and found 4 more mice and i can smell the rats, so we have both at work currently
 
No you can have both!!
This time of year both are looking for somewhere with shelter and food to take up winter residence.
I take my Ferrets round on regular inspection of the farm building and that seems to keep things under control .
a jack russel or similar terrior is also quite useful for locating them

my lurcher is an amazing ratter puts my 2 terriers to shame. i was asked not to take my dogs to work with me anymore 3 weeks ago, and already we have rats and mice where there have been none for over 2yrs
