I was eating breakfast this morning, sitting on the sofa happily munching my Rice Krispies when Ruby came up me and started growling

I just sort of stared at her wondering what on earth she was doing as she was looking at my bowl - then I realised..... she didn't like the Snap, Crackle & Pop

!!! I then started laughing and put the bowl on the floor to which she went into a barking frenzy until she was brave enough to come and sniff it, then looked rather embarassed and wondered off

So, what silly things have your dogs not understood?!

I have two vizslas who, by their nature, stop and point at game...except my silly dogs always stop and point at nettles, fallen branches and occasionally horse poo

My jack russell pushes her ball away from her then barks at it until she realises that its not going to roll back on its own accord, she then picks it up runs around with it for a bit then does it all over again and again and again and again...

The first time I lit the fire after Henry got home, he shot off into the passageway and just peeked around the corner at the scary crackling thing in the grate

She doesnt like yellow hoses, but red hoses are fine.

Not a fan of the ironing board at all!

Not tried her with the fire yet but might be funny han!

I went out a couple of days ago, Islay had to stay on the lead but Flick was off the lead - she kept running back to me with a confused expression "mum, mum, what are doing? Come on mum, you should be walking, are you OK?"

One of mine is scared stiff of the stuffed dogs that are used by traders to showcase a product (like a rug or a harness). Every weekend at agility shows he sees it - every week he jumps in the air, growls and barks!! Every week i take him up to it and show him it's a stuffed toy - he looks all bashful and walks off nonchantly..........next week we jump in the air and bark all over again!!!

Jack has never grasped the concept of fetch. He might chash a ball once or twice in the house then go and take it behind the sofa or sometimes just looks at you like you're mad.

I might video Dougal when I try to hoover. Tink just slinks off looking a bit scared but Dougal launches a full on attack and goes into whirling dervish mode. Quite amusing.

well ronnie the retriever is just plain daft hehe. But little ben, my sisters 2yrs mini schnauzer, with a list of health problems taller than me

), so i took him upstairs to have a shower. i have an ensuite, and as i put him down outside the bathroom door once he'd been showered, he broke wind. he jumped in the air in fright and ran behind my bed and hid. I have never laughed so much. poor little mite hehe he was shaking and everything
