Have I missed your camp report ? I have found a few photo's (which were great by the way). Would love to hear how you got on & what items of Silmarillon were really needed !! as I am off to a weekend rally in June and have never done anything like that before.
 
I didnt do a report. Was really good though and would fully recommend it! I am definitely going again and will be braver with my lesson choices next time. I could have done with taking more in the way of drinks as I was parched the first day and also on the way home, a bit of extra food other than haribo (didnt eat for hours on the first day) but other than that I didnt really need anything else - dont forget a camera and spare batteries/charger, if you get the chance to photograph other people's lessons it goes down very well. I took 2 x pairs jods (which over 4 days were more than sufficient), boots, gaiters, hat, gloves, whip, saddle, bridle, girth, prolite, 1 set brushing boots, fleece cooler, stable rug, lunge line for grazing him on, grooming kit, tack cleaning stuff, hard feed, haynets, buckets, mucking out stuff, and not much else. I didnt find that I was missing anything vital. (I only had the one grid session though, if Id done xc Id have remembered body protector and possibly some tougher boots for my horse). Oh and of course I remembeed wine! A bit of cash would have been useful too, for pro pics, quiz entry and a couple of thankyou presents that everyone clubbed together to buy.

I am sure you will have a fab time, its a good chance to meet like minded people and have fun!

Sorry, my fault, I did promise to be the one doing the report but I arrived home to chaos on Thursday evening and haven't had chance! Today is quieter so I shall do one by this evening with any luck! And yes, I did actually use 99% of the stuff I took!

Looking forward to seeing your report. Does this mean that I have to take lots of things or even buy lots of new things to take ????

You don't have to buy anything... unless you find that you just HAVE to have such and such... like I did with lots of stuff...
