Silver Spray / Itchy Mane

My mare keeps itching her mane, but seems to be actually rubbing the whorl underneath. I've tried a few things - wound powder, hibi scrub, savlon and sudocrem. Tonight one of the girls on the yard lent me some silver spray, which I've not come across before. What does everyone thing of silver spray in general? (seems great from first impressions). Also any other suggestions to stop the itching? Thanks so much.

Is it aluspray ?? We used it when my horse took a huge chunk out of his knee. Put a huge dollop of dermagel onto the wound, and then sprayed over with aluspray to cover it well and it healed a treat, it also kept the flies off the wound too.

It is aluspray (I think). Good to hear it works - will definitely be ordering my own.
