Just been up the road to Baguette De Monde to grab a salad for lunch and there are tons of people all milling around the hotel opposite all hoping to catch a glimpse of Simon Cowell as they are doing the X-Factor auditions in Birmingham today. They are just waiting for them to appear out of the hotel reception and into the limo which is waiting outside. I hung around for ten minutes but the thought of my lasagne and salad pot was making me drool! My two work colleagues have got tickets for the audtions so they have had half a day and are going to watch it now! Good luck contestants!!
