I have just started giving my horse the Lucie Cobs (and plan to start using the Purabeet and Total Eclipse shortly) but I am finding that the Lucie Cobs rather difficult to soak. I put about 12 or so of them into half a bucket of water but they float so only partially expand and there are lots of dry bits left. Does anyone have any tips on how to soak them properly?

When we used to feed Simple Systems we found if you put a bit of warm water on the Lucie Cobs first it helps stop that happening.

bit of a pain but i would put them in a bucket with just enough water to cover them

then as they swell and expand add more water till there how you want them

Hi Happihorse,
Their feed line is very helpful with any queries... I put my bluebag grass nuts, luciecobs and purabeet with the Total Eclipse in the bucket and soak the evening feed in the morning and the morning feed in the evening. It works great for me! I wouldn't worry about the dry bits, they have teeth! Mine love the lucie pellets dry as treats too!
