Fed a while ago to pony with dust allergy. Went very quick! Were about £14 a bag. Fed le brick for a while, very expensive. Feedmark do them too

I get Dengie's alfalfa pellets instead, marginally cheaper and alfalfa is lucerne by any other name. I thnk they were about £10 a bag. Supply is drying up for now though because I suspect they are running out of last years crop.

I had a similar different brand Alfalfa brick to try recently. Two horses didn't like it and the third wolfed it down within about 5 minutes tops!
Bit expensive for the daily "extra" I'd hoped for whilst I had no turn out over winter but a nice treat for the one.

I have one lad who eats one in 5 mins flat, and another who just throws it round till it breaks up to dust, and then won't touch it!

Mine pops them in his water bucket then eats the resulting mush cos he is helpful like that...

I now soak them and use them as plain chaff. Why fight it? Lol

I got some for my veteran, and she wouldn't touch them.

Apache on the other hand loves them!
