Singing Cocker Spaniel Anyone???

I am sat here quietly watching the tele and all I can here is chewbacca noises coming from the confused animal sat next to me!!! She must have started this from about 6 months old.... and is now 3 and is even noisier!!

Does anybody elses cocker spaniels seem to have lost the plot???

She has grown from this cute little bundle;

To this strange/confused/deranged animal;

ohh dear poor animal haha. I just wish I knew what on earth she was singing/chewbacca-ing about!?!?! xx

yes - we have a red girl who is incredibly vocal - she's always been noisy from a tiny puppy - she nyum nyums, squeaks, whines, sings, hums - she was like a baby learning to speak - practising noises - but she still does it, now aged 2.5 yrs.

Henry hasn't lost the plot. He never had the plot

He does have a fine singing voice however

Sweep has the occaisional moment of singing and squeaking - usually Sweep for wanting something - attention/food/walk or all of the previous

.....!! but he really isn't to bad.

My friends old cocker however never bloody shut up!!

Don't know why some just do and others don't - you obviously have a 'chatty' one!!

Both my Dad's Working Cockers "sing", one does a funny howly thing (to listen to him you would swear he was trying to talk!!) and the other does a squeaky funny noise when he is excited to see you, he has to have paper in his mouth at the time too!

I must try and catch her in the act on video so you can hear it - it really is something else! i genuinely believe she has a slate loose!

My poor boyfriend is having to house sit when we go on holiday...... this nutty dog, 2 others and a cat.
