Those of you with single/mono flap saddles, what sort of numnah do you use with it? Or more to the point, what do you do with the strap that would normally go round the top of the girth straps to hold the top part in place?? I'm sure I've read somewhere you can get them that go on the Drings instead?? But what sort are these and where can I get them from?
Thanks!

Polypads stay in place with no straps at all - either onto the girth straps or at the bottom of the saddle flap that the girth itself slides thru

try one of those

used them for years on lots of different horses and they don't move (not the squares, the saddle shaped ones)

I just use any sort of numnah and dont bother using the top strap at all. Saying that all my numnahs are shaped over the withers, never has a problem with any of them moving. Agree polypads stay in place but I find them too thick and IMO defeat the object of a close contact saddle.

WOW saddles do thier own numnah but yes, basically, they tie to the tie rings - which means there is no way you can get any pressure points from it pulling downon over the withers.

I have a WOW saddle and use a nuumed numnah that has little velcro straps to go through the d-rings. I didn't know WOW did their own numnahs too - tried looking on their website and nothing there - mrussell where did you get yours from - did you have to ring them direct and were they expensive and are they any better than the nuumed anyway? Sorry for 100 questions! My mare already has a bigger wardrobe than me so probably doesn't need another one unless the fit is brill. Thanks AJ
