Just after your experiences please?

Does a bigger horse bash himself when unload at the front?

There doesn't look to be alot of room to manover himself?

Do you like single trailers? No point having a double if the car only safetly tows one horse!

My mate has a 15.2hh Arab and travels him in an Ifor Williams single trailer with no problems at all.

I have a single ifor trailer, no problems, lovely to tow, plenty of room for 1 horse as its the equivalent of 1 1/2 partition space (if that makes sense. Apparently you can get a mare and foal in it!

I read this as...single use trailers, and thought what a waste (tired eyes!)

I have a single Cheval Liberte. It is great. There is plenty of headroom and space and it is very stable to tow. It only weighs 500kg unladen which means it can be towed by the family car.

I had a lovely Ifor one for my welsh D mare a few years ago and i couldn't fault it,she travelled so well in it,only sold it as i wanted a lorry for shows etc. They hold their value the Ifors too, sold mine for £50 less than i bought it for i think so not bad,i got quite a bit of use out of it,just after i sold it my mare had an injury so my new lorry ended up sat there for a while and i just ended up selling it as my new 2nd horse i got was too big for it really.

I have an Ifor Williams single trailer, it's about 4 years old and my horse travels really well in it.

As mentioned, they actually have the equivalent of 1.5 partition-width compared to a double trailer, so mine has enough room to stand at a slight angle as that's what she prefers. (it also means I have just enough room to tack up and boot up inside the trailer if weather is rotten, but this is a bit "cosy" and I only do it because I trust her with my life!)

One of the best bits is it's exactly the width of my car and follows the same turning circle when going forwards, so I know if I can get the car through, the trailer will follow!

They are like rocking horse poo to find second hand and do hold their value as there's so few good second hand ones around, but I love my wee "tonka toy" trailer!

Im really tempted by one, there doesn't seam much point buying a double if I cant tow two with my car.

Do you think it would take a 16.2 as Ifor says it would?

Also what car does everyone tow it with?
