Rode my lovely man tonight for the first time in 6 weeks and appeared as sound as a pound!

Whats more; i was a bit worried about getting on him as he's sharp as you like and usually tries to rear, spin (!) BUT, I got on him and he stood like a lamb. then he walked around calm as you like for 10 mins (those who have followed our progress, will know this is amazing!) and then we had a little trot!

He behaved like a donkey, was calm and kind and perfectly behaved. When i got off i gave him the biggest ever hug!

Rugged him up, gave him some tea and turned him back out for the night. Cannot wait to ride tomorrow now!

Sorry, totally self indulgent!

Good farriers are worth their weight in gold! I think my little one who was slightly off-beat is sound again too, so me is a happy girl too.
