Hi there, just wondering if any of you have any of the Tobias Corbett progeny?

What are they like to handle, both on and off the ground and what disciplines did you find they were most suitable for?

There are 2 up for sale in the H&H classifieds this week in the youngstock section, which has triggered this off!!

Thanks :)

He was a super chap - sadly lost to colic a couple of years ago shortly after he fell onto BETTER times. I had a mare here to foal that had a filly by him - I was so impressed with her that I immediately ordered semen for one of my mares. Sadly she didn't take 1st time and by the next cycle he was dead!

The filly moved beautifully - perhaps a bit more 'feisty' than some pure-bred ID foals, but not heard of anyone having problems with his progeny as far as temperament is concerned.

Tobias Corbett had a HELL of a jump (apparently, at the stud prior to the one he ended up at they couldn't turn him out - as he jumped EVERYTHING!) But the progeny I've seen have also moved well enough for dressage.
