Casually walking down to the stables this morning...
When I seen only one head poking out the stables when there should be two! Panic started to set in. Please don't let her cast! Please don't let her be cast!
When in fact she was sleeping. Took me ages to get her up and out, I own my own yard so the horses are always loose on the yard. I've never had any problems, both horses have beautiful manners especially my cobxtb who follows me around the yard like a baby.
However, this morning nymmie decided to be a typical tb and play up. Scrapping the floor, driving cash around the yard, barged me against the stable door. This is totally against her nature, normally she is the sweetest mare anyone could ask for. She wouldn't touch her feed, so I opened her stable door again, and she trotted in and started walking around in circles and scrapping the floor. Turned my back and all of a sudden she was back lying down again.
It was at this point I thought of colic, but after a few minutes she got up and casually ate her food. When she had finished I let her out and she was fine again!
Anyone else have this problem? I hope this doesn't become a regular morning, me and cash just looked on in amazement!
