It's been six weeks since Tess came to live with me and I am truly amazed by her progress. She has bonded totally with me and is getting on really well with her training. It seems that every day we do something new so I thought I'd share a couple of photos of today's "new " thing. Until now I've only let her off the lead in places she knows well so that if disaster happened then she would hopefully find her way back to the car. Today I took her on a walk she's never done and let her run free. Makes my heart sing to watch her.

lots of funny smells

Wow you have both come a long way together in a very short space of time, Tess looks a gorgous girl and you two have bonded very quickly.

The pics and scenery are lovely and you are lucky to have access to such a lovely area.

What are your plans for her and have you considered joining a training class for obedience, agility or flyball?

Hello and thank you very much. I am lucky, that walk is only five mins up the road. We are going to training class. I help at a club so she goes to the puppy class for socialisation and general nonsense and she's in the beginner's b group for her "proper" class (was very proud when she was allowed to skip the c group as she's already picked up so much). Longer term I want to try her at agility and she loves balls so flyball a definite maybe. Feel like I want to get her obedience much more established and work on general life for a while longer before introducing the agility etc though. She's slightly over bonded and I need to work on basic life skills like me going out too. But I was prepared for that and thankfully my neighbours are lovely and happy to work with me/provide cuppa while I do test runs/phone me if she's distressed etc.
