ok, ive spent ages looking onlie and now give up so i hope someone can help!!

Im treating my loan pony (14.2hh cob x nf) to a new saddlecloth, the one ove seen is on good old ebay and is a pony size, Just wondering if this is going to fit ok and how much size difference is there between a pony size and full size?

its a shires quilted saddlecloth if that helps anymore

Thanks so much

Jo

i would go for a cob size or what size is she in
there is alot of difference between pony and full
i use a cob on my 14hh welsh cob mare

have you got a friend that has got a full to try on and see pony will be defently to small you might get away with full but i would try before getting a full

ooo I've just bought one of those for my ponio...and I have no idea what size it is (It was in a bargain bin)!!! But it is quite big, seems to fit him fine though

I have the same problem, a 14hh native type pony and he varies between pony and cob size for tack, depending on make, and I buy large in the Nuumed numnahs I use. I would go for large, would rather it be too big than too small.

My little cob in pic below who is 14.3hh is wearing a Full Size saddlecloth .... I prefer them to be generous and therefore the saddle will not 'sit' on any binding

I've always wondered why saddle cloths are sold in Pony, Cob & Full sizes? Why aren't they sold in saddle sizes, then you'd get the correct size.
