I have heard people say they are big made but how big, my horses HW weatherbeeta is a 6'9 and just short of his bum so im looking for another rug and thinking about the Premier equine stormbuster but dont know if i should go for the 6'9 or 7' ? Opinions please?

I have both a PE and a weatherbeeta for my horse and both are the same size and seem to fit similarly, maybe the PE is a teeny bit bigger but not a whole size so it's probably just down to the different cut.

My horse is usually a 6'3 and his PE rug is a 6. I didn't buy it for him in that size, I inherited it when I bought him but it seems to fit perfectly so think they are slightly bigger.

Pe are tiny bit bigger in length not enough to drop down a size and are bigger sound the chest than horse wear. I use hw on my small chested tb and pe on my bigger chested boy but they often swap length ways are are much the same x

I bought my PE rugs in her "normal" size and they fit well - they're deeper cut than many (like a dress!) but length wise I found it to fit her fine x

If his current 6'9 is just short I'd got with a 6'9 PE and it should be perfect. I love the PE rugs but find the necks can be a bit small, which can be problematic if you go down a size. Plus they're so well made that even if they are rather too big (I have a 6'9 on a horse that only needs a 6'6) they stay in place so well it doesn't cause any problems, just make sure the straps are nice and tight or the surcingles could hang down by their knees.

PE and Weatherbeeta seem to be the only rugs that consistently fit my horse well. I would say they are pretty similar in sizing, PE being just slightly bigger.
