Hi, am contemplating getting one for my 15.2 TB type with a fine head. I often find she is between sizes. Plus I want it to fit both a snaffle and a combination type bit, and think the cheek pieces may be too long in a full size for a combination but not sure if the cob size would be too small. Can anyone with this size of horse recommend cob or full size? Am even considering buying a full in the flash and a cob in the grackle so I can mix n match but that might be pushing my credit card too far
Thanks
Ps meant Shires not shares

I was dithering over sizes of these for my young,16hh TB, as he's got a very fine head I listened to somebody's advice & bought the pony size! Big mistake as too small, really liked the bridle so got cob size which is a perfect fit.

I have the full size on my heavy cob - it's pretty generous so I would say cob size would be right for your horse. You can buy the cheek pieces separately if you find you need a different size as well.

Thanks everyone for your replies, very helpful, seems like everyone agrees cob size is the way forward.
Jo1987 that is useful to know you can buy cheek pieces separately, thank you.
Thank you all

Super, thanks Mudmonkey !

Hope everyone was pleased with the bridle, it seems to get good reviews on here.

I'm looking at these at the moment too - lovely bridles.

I cant decide on cavesson or grackle - horse usually has a grackle for fast work - does anyone know if you can buy the nosebands separately?

Me too, I haven't found anywhere yet selling the nose band separately. The saddlery shop sells cheek pieces, both billet and clip types. If you can buy nosebands separately please let me know. Otherwise might have to get a saddler to modify a normal noseband
