Sizing query re Rugged Denim Breeches

I am a 28/30 in breeches , well a 29 tbh, my Mark Todd's are 28, my Caldene are 30, both fit nicely.
I am wanting to order some Rugged Denim Breeches and not sure which size to go for a 28 or 30, they are 4 way stretch so thinking of maybe 28's as I don't want them baggy, but nor do I want them that tight I won't wear them.

Can anyone offer any experience please.

I've got a couple of pairs of the Rugged breeches. I would say if you are an average size 12 go for the 28, if you're nudging a 14 then the 30's would be a better fit.
