firstly he is absolutely amazing, and i recommend him to anyone who wants to jump and
we had some problems loading, but when we got her on we were off, we got there i warmed up got ready
went into the arena, he watched me and my partner trot and canter round
the other lady was completly s*it scared and only wanted to do poles, he straight away saw that he couldnt push her too far so only did poles
to start with we did trotting poles and he gave me advice on when i needed to push, and when i needed to "pull"
we then did trotting poles and a cross which she got eager at and he gave me more advice as i went along. the other lady just worked on poles
he then put up and upright which i trotted too
he saw that she was eager and could jump...
so then we moved onto canter poles
did the same as in trot, after the poles then a cross and then an upright
he then moved me onto bigger fences and an arrowhead
she felt incredible
and he pushed me and knew how far he could push both of us
once we worked on the grid he got me to jump round a course
it felt great, he made it smaller at first
and then stuck it up and it was the best feeling i have ever had jumping her round a course
i spoke to someone who is a showjumper and she said hes a great coach cos he knows how far to go etc and he is a competitive rider
he gave me loads of tips and what i need to practise.
so all in all a very succesful day
really worthwhile
i cant go to the next one at forest edge, too expensive
but im going to the next one at ferry farm
he could see the potential and said i was a good rider and had a super pony
next time i may ask him whether i could go affiliated or not
