Went to a localish qualifier today for 80cm and 90cm. There was only about one sane horse/pony in the warmup, with all the others behaving in an equally nutty manner to my mare (made me feel better lol), so it was a bit interesting as we were all having issues stopping/bucking/galloping at the jumps! Course was lovely, with (unfortunately) a green wall, at which we were eliminated in both classes 'cause madam thought it was snortingly, jumping-away in fear type scary. We only really went so she could get some jumping in and calm down a bit, so I don't really mind, and we had lots of fun jumping the warm-up jumps.
So - why did she so badly need to calm down? Well - the following pics are a snippet of the delights of schooling her (or attempting to!), yesterday! Bit fuzzy as video stills, but you get the idea!!!!!
