SJ today

Had a day off today so headed to The Hand for some bsja - bn first - jumped a nice round to have one down in the JO (my fault).

Then Discovery - jumped a much more fluent round which was really nice to ride to have 2 down where he is lazy and dangles his feet over the small fences, little sod!

However really pleased with him as he's not jumped since the beginning of Oct and has done nothing indoors for over a year. Possibly the first time ever I have thought SJ was great fun too (maybe due to day off work?!)

He was v amusing off the lorry - clearly thought 'well, I did the dressage the other day, so today must be the XC!' He was very disappointed to only SJ!

Well done, youre doing better than me, this weekend is the first weekend for jumping for me and snoop, hopefully first competition (dressage) next weekend.
Must get a riggle on BSJA myself EEK! lol

Soaked to the knickers unloading the wagon!!

He came off snorting and eyes on stalks and was a total pain until I'd jumped the first class, then resigned himself to his fate!

MDM - I am - he had 3 weeks off till end of Oct, spent Nov getting him fit again and now he's back into the thick of it. I am determined to improve on my rather rubbish placings last year and my real issue is ringcraft so we have to get out there as much as possible...

Thanks M - it feels a bit silly being pleased about 2 down, but the feel was there so now I just need to fine tune it (I hope).

HJ - I am really luck I am smack bang in the middle of lots of show centres so I could find a couple of things a week to do if I was that rich/enthusiastic/had enough time off work!).
