SJ with Ernest Dillon

There are some upcoming SJ clinics at the very nice LMEQ in Surrey with Ernest Dillon - has anyone any experience of his teaching - wondering if it would be worth attending. Thanks! x

Defo worth a visit . He likes to get you moving forwards to the jump and very good at building confidence.

Yep - go for it. I had a 2 day clinic with him a few years ago - well worth it, and he really made me feel much more optimistic about jumping.

Yes, he is fantastic and always fills you with confidence.

I've seen him teach pony club and be nothing short of downright rude. Of you are very accomplished with a super horse then go but foe anyone else I would avoid. Personally, I don't see the need for trying to teach through negativity.

Ive had lots of training with Ernest and I think he is very good and he has never been rude to me.

He is very good, I used to have regular lessons with him until he moved too a further away venue.

He's well known for being pretty harsh though! So if you hate getting yelled at, he's probably not for you. Makes me ride better.

I watched him sort out some gobby, spoilt equine students one time and it was well worth the entrance money for that alone. I liked his style. They couldn't ride half as well as they thought they could and he told them.
