My horse started coming up with lumps near his flank and under body on Sunday afternoon. By Monday morning it had spread to both sides of his body and up towards saddle area. Some of the swelling on his body has now gone down but has left small tiny scabs, but the swelling underneath his belly is sore and very sensitive to touch. He's never had anything like this before and not changed feed, used different washing powder or horse shampoo. Am giving him Piriton tabs morning and night and phoned the vet who said there really isn't much you can do. Other than this he is well in himself and eating drinking as normal.
