Opened a new bag of food yesterday and noticed the kibble is smaller. I had thrown the old empty bag away so can't check if anything has changed in the ingredients, but I'm a bit peeved, its almost like a puppy bite now, I like my two to have bigger pieces so they attempt to chew not just inhale. I just wondered if maybe something has got mixed up and its not actually D & R in the bag, or if anyone else has noticed this.

Old bag - Rice (40%), duck meat meal (20%), oats, peas, whole linseed, sunflower oil, sugar beet pulp, vitamins and minerals.

Probably just a different extruder but worth giving them a ring.

They have a phone number at the top of each webpage (and not premium rate).

It looks the same but is slightly smaller! Boots ate it just the way he always does so I'm not too worried, will try and post a pic of the size diff

I just spoke to Skinners. They said they haven't changed the size of the kibble, but sometimes when they have done work on the extruder the first few bags do come out smaller. Interesting that some of you have noticed it too, will wait to see if it changes again on future bags.

If the question was directed generally, I pay £22 a bag, and get it from a farm shop about 100 yards up the road from me. £33 Cop-Pop , I know the Countrywide store near me is ridiculously expensive but surely they don't mark up that much.

They're the cheapest ones! I may have found somewhere cheaper though so waiting on a price.

Glad its not just me that noticed, the person I spoke to obviously was trying to fob me off. I'm not overly concerned, I imagine the fact that they only make one kibble to cover all breeds makes it sense for it to be smaller, as long as the make up hasn't changed. I have resorted to a large rock in Evie's bowl as she eats it so fast now she ends up choking:(.

MM i have one of the anti gobble bowls there amazing! My lab is very greedy when a pup he had a rock but just pushed it round to still swallow loads of food, the anti gobble makes him take about 5 mins instead of 2 to eat.
Definitely worth the money- although mine did try eat the rock a few times which was why i changed!

I got a new bag last week, still small.:( I tried to find the Skinners stand at Crufts to have a moan but they didn't appear to be there, either that or they were hiding from me.:p

The last 2 bags I've bought have definitely been smaller kibble which has pleased fussy lucher.

I get mine from rokers nr Guildford for £19.95. I bought it from somewhere different a few months ago and it was £24.95 !

Just started ordering mine from Amazon and can get it for 20 something a bag with free delivery if you get it delivered each month (22 if one off order). Big saving and don't have to trek to CW for it if that helps anyone? :-)
