Skinny horse Fat

Hi!

I have acquired a 3yo ID!
Now she is very skinny but is on 24/7 turn out and unlimited hay. She gets an additional feed of balancer and Alfa-a oil once or twice daily.

Her belly seems large (full) but she doesn't seem to be gaining any more rib coverage over the past 6 weeks.

How long am I looking at for suffienct weight gain? I am debating putting her on some speedy beet too as well as keeping her on a weight gain mix.

She has been wormed and vet is coming out next week -had a waiting list 🙄

I'd attach some pictures but I've not worked out how just yet!

I would not worry if she's a healthy ID she won't be slim for long .
Is her worming including a tape worm dose up to date ? If not get that sorted .
How long have you had her ?
