My sis got her new pup on Friday.
She is very very sweet, but she is so skinny. I don't think that the people she got her from new much about how to look after them.
My worry is that she has a HUGE belly. It went down a bit after having a poo, but am I correct in thinking that this is a wormy belly?
She has been to the vet and they seem to think she is in good health.

I feel incredibly sorry for this little lady. She looked all lost and all she wanted to do was have a cuddle.
I will get some more piccies shortly.

Oh, they called her Grace in the end.

Yup worms.. Finn was the same when we got him. MOST pups get wormies from their mum, a good dose of wormer will see her right. Once a month for the 1st 6 months then every 3months there after generally. x

Yeah, she got a worming program from the vet.
Hopefully she will start to thrive now....poor little lady

We've recently got 2 Yorkie pups and they are sisters. One had a really bloaty belly too. We had them checked over at the vets and had then wormed but she still is a bit tubby tummy looking. Vet says some pups are just like that!

I think my sister has been rather impulsive on this occasion and I just want things to go ok for her and the pup!

She should have been wormed every 2weeks from the age of 2 weeks...

Did they not give your sister a date when she was due next?

Pretty name

Unscrupulous (is that how you spell it?) breeders I'm afraid. I believe Grace will be one of the lucky ones.

She was given a wormer on Saturday. Will see how she gets on with that.
She is going to worm both dogs together.

The name does suit her!
