...and a lot of naughtiness!
Oh, and since the weathers got nice and to sort out his skin (foremost) and his appearance (bonus) the rest of the vile clip came off yesterday.
So this was day 1...
And pony today.
He has his own bit of a field electric fenced off (due to worms), so he shouldn't have been here and we were trying to put him back, this was a wonderful game...
This pony is trouble!
So to try and answer some of the questions from last week.
He's eating a lot of good quality hay and 3 meals a day. These started off seriously small with almost nothing in them at all. He's now getting nuts, beet, chaff and A&P weight gain (still being phased in). He's getting redigrass in a little tub trug (being phased in again) because who knows when the last time he had grass was, and is out in the day in a little sparce paddock with adlib hay...well, when he stays in it!
The WHW have intervened with the other horse (and some tiny mini ponies we didn't see apparently!). They were brilliant when we reported it and called us back after they had done a visit. They apparently gave them wormers, feed advice, told them to get a farrier asap and will be going back next week I think it should be. They think it was just ignorance.
