I've been lurking but haven't posted for awhile, so thought it was time for an update.
Skye's recall is progressing well (touch wood).
At the training field she is completely off long line and 99% of the time will come straight back when I call her.
(Sausages or cheeses are a great temptation!)
Out on walks I now can drop the long line again for 99% of the time. I think it is just my confidence which prevents me from leaving it off.
Her flyballl training is coming on too. At training she is brilliant--
in competition she can still run out at times.
However last weeked, she was awful in the morning but brilliant in the afternoon,
so hopefully she is now establishing herself. Her Team was 1st and she did contribute in the afternoon so rosette earned. (and a lovely keyring with a picture of the team.
Beau---I posted about starting her on Metacam.
Well it has had fabulous results.

She now runs up the stairs and is back to her bouncy self. It has made me soooo happy to see her. Except I feel a little guilty that I didn't do it sooner!

Sorry for long post.
I've been keeping up to date with everyone's successess and heartbreaks and send congratulations or sympathies as appropriate.
