Our Tara went to sleep peacefully this morning with my parents by her side.

I miss her so much already, but I am glad that she didn't get to the stage of suffering and she had a lovely weekend of liver, cream cakes and little walks.

You were obviously needed up there more than here, girl. Have a lovely time playing with our girls and keep an eye on Misty for us. I am gutted I couldn't be there x

I love you, rest in peace.

Goodnight. God Bless Tara. Nothing I can say to help you feel better. You loved her and she loved you and that's all that matters hun. J xx

Thanks everyone, my eyes are leaking again now!:(

I'm just glad that she didn't have to suffer, she didn't deserve that at all, especially after everything she'd already been through.

She was a lovely girl, strong willed, opinionated and stubborn, typical Shepherd really. It's going to be very odd going home to one dog :(

Oh I am so sorry to read this :(

You must be so desperately upset, dear old girl is at peace now and what a wonderful life she had xx

Thanks guys, I feel devastated, don't really know what to do or how to cope with it. At moment I'm just throwing myself into uni work.
Mum says our Goldie is a bit whimpery and mopey today, which is understandable. I'm going to go and buy her a new toy today to take home with me tomorrow.
I'm okay until I see a picture or find a hair or something then it sets me off again. I think when I get home tomorrow it will hit hard
