So sorry, how awful x

My guy went down yesterday in the stable. It was awful to experience, nothing obvious as the cause, awaiting blood results though.

Omg how awful for you and unexpected - these types of accident come without any warning. My trainer lost hers in a similar way - tripped in field and broke his leg.

Thoughts of your lovely mare today so sad for all concerned xxx

Thanks guys... I’m devastated but surprisingly okay at the same time. I think being with her while she went helped.

It honestly feels like she’s just gone away for some training again - I’ve emptied her stable out and washed all of her rugs ready to put away like she’ll be coming back in a few weeks.

She was such a sweet big mare (and an absolute moody cow at times) and I was so looking forwards to getting going with her. Even my dad was crying when she went.

Life can be so unfair.
