I have a cocker and a springer spaniel. Both lovely dogs happily live together, no fighting or aggression in any way. Cocker is a definite mummys boy though. But we seem to have a small problem. When they come with us into room with fire for nice cosy sleep the cocker starts to have a go at springer, barking and growling and sort of leaning against the other dog is a domineering fashion, although he has never bitten the other dog and whilst he is growling etc tail is still wagging It all then settles down and they take up there in from fo fire places and all is well, until springer wants to move and then it starts again. Last night it was really bad he just kept gowling and barking. I tried putting him back in kitchen until he calmed down, and then saying no very firmly but to no effect. It was really beginning to get on my nerves last night. The spinger I might add does not take a blind bit of notice and just carries on doing what ever he wants to do. So what is causing it/how should I deal with it
