Wormed him yesterday with Equest Pramox after testing positive for Strongyles (800 per gram of faeces) (as adviced by the Equine Pathologist at the lab I work for)
Absolutely fine last night and this morning, normal poo's in the stable last night. However, during the day he's had real cowpat poo's while he's been turned out into the field.
Obviously keeping a close eye on him, he's in the stable overnight at the moment anyway due to rain and trying to keep field good.
He's not off his food (hard feed or hay), and he's just as happy as he always is, playing with his treat ball as usual as I left him, so I'm not too worried, at least not enough to call vet yet.
However, this happens almost everytime he's goes on fresh spring grass, and now I'm finding out when he's wormed (I don't worm often, I prefer to test first then worm), so my question is this:
Should I invest in a feed supplement to help his digestion, since all this is pointing to him having quite a sensitive digestive system?
